WEBxMedia Ltd Case Study.

WEBxMedia are a specialist digital agency, based in Portsmouth with expertise across design, web development and managed hosting solutions. From professional websites to bespoke web applications they have the proven experience to deliver. Founded by Matt Whiteman in 2004, WEBxMedia now delivers an array of web based solutions to UK and overseas clients.

In June 2021 I engaged JVR Consultancy to become Cyber Security Essentials Certified. I recognised this as an essential accreditation for my business and to help demonstrate to my clients that I take Cyber security very seriously.

The whole process couldn’t’ have been handled more smoothly or gone any better. After an initial remote consultation, my specialist consultant walked me through the entire process, explaining his role and all the benefits of becoming certified. Free insurance as well!! Once I completed my part, I handed over the reins back to JVR, who then prepared my submission and dealt with the follow-up queries from the review board (just a couple, if I recall). I was kept informed of the progress regularly to ensure I was happy at every stage. A couple of weeks later, I received my certificate and claimed my free cyber insurance.

The list of questions in the submission is pretty extensive. So for anyone who isn’t’ technically minded, I would say you’ll’ quickly become overwhelmed without JVRs specialist support to lean on. For me, the process has been simplified and taken away all the pain of dealing with the reviewers. No doubt I’d still be going through the process right now without JVRs help.
